Our Story

Francis Craig the owner and founder of Craig Housing Ltd was born and raised in Pesega, Samoa. As a 17-year-old boy, he was called to serve a Labor Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mapusaga, American Samoa.

There he learned to read Blueprints in the Construction trade which became the foundation to his career in Commercial Construction, learning construction from the ground up.

After His mission, he moved to New Zealand and began his apprenticeship in Commercial Construction, Engineering and Refrigeration. He married his sweetheart and began his family.

In 1978 he moved his young family back to Samoa and built his own home and started Craig Construction Ltd.

Over 40 years the company has grown into various companies Craig Construction ltd, Craig Housing Ltd and Craig Joinery ltd, Discount Building Supplies Ltd, Craig Construction Ltd – New Zealand and Craig Construction Ltd – American Samoa.
